Mud games, human pyramids, crawling competitions, Yoga for two; I am mesmerised by the shapes that are created by body meeting body, by the spaces that are torn between them and from the deconstruction of one body by the obstruction of another.
Sometimes the image is incorporated and sometimes as if plastered. There are figures that look inside themselves and others are struggling for their place. Sometimes the background takes the subject apart.
The mix of painting languages allows me to find my place in reference to the male gestures of American Pop and German Expressionism, and - the female toil.
